Sìth is open for business!

Sìth is open from Monday the 11th of August, selling gorgeous gifts and little treats. It will soon be a cafe as well! The plan is to create a welcoming community cafe and arts space in Glasgow's West End.

Gaelic Online: The new community portal!

Tatton & Meek are delighted to announce that Gaelic Online is back!

10 years after it was originally launched as one of the web's first Gaelic community websites, Gaelic Online is back and better than ever. It brings together links, news and event listings from across the Gaelic world in one easy to navigate location.

Designed to be both Gaelic and English speaker friendly, we really want you to let us know about any events, links or news you think we should include. We hope Gaelic Online will grow to be the place where you find the Gaelic content you need, fast!

What's with the funny words?

Ah... Okay, so one of the Directors is a native Scottish Gaelic speaker. "Sìth" means "peace" in Gaelic. We want the café to be a restful, peaceful, safe space.

So there you go, the funny words are Gaelic. Feel free to ask for help with pronounciation!
